High performance tube bundle heat exchanger in pharmaceutical version
The UniTube heat exchanger is a unique design that prevents mixing of
the two media involved in the process. The use of a double-tube-sheet ensures
that in case of damage to the perforated plate cross-contamination can take
place.The pipes on the hygiene side are made of rust-resistant
stainless steel 1.4404, seamless and polished inside. Carried out the apparatus
is dead space-free, so that the development of microorganisms is prevented.
All surfaces on the hygiene side are polished. The seals
used are made of Viton or silicone and meet the standard requirements of 3-A
and FDA.
The connections on
the pipe side (hygienic side) are designed in accordance with DIN 32676-A
(Tri-Clamp), the connections on the shell side with flanges to EN 1092-1.
